PRIVACY POLICY
Garden Brasserie (Garden) is a registered business name owned by Essgee Pty Limited (ABN 29 664 101 983). Essgee Pty Limited owns the gardenbrasserie.com.au domain name.
Garden collects and stores relevant information provided to us by our customers that we use for marketing purposes and to conduct internal business analysis about the demographics and purchasing habits of our customer base. Relevant information for these purposes is limited to name, address and contact details.
Garden does not store any information relating to customers’ bank account or credit card details.
Other aspects of Garden’s privacy policy are that we will:
- comply with the law and be fair in the way we collect and use information about individuals
- only use or disclose information about individuals in ways that are consistent with their expectations or are required in the public interest
- take reasonable steps to make sure that the personal information we collect, use and disclose is accurate, complete and up to date
- keep information about individuals secure
- destroy or de-identify information about individuals when it is no longer needed
- be open with individuals about what kind of personal information we hold and what we do with it
- wherever possible, let individuals see the information we hold about them and correct it if it is wrong

By providing us with your details for the purposes of making any group booking or holding any function at Garden Brasserie, you are requesting and authorizing us to place you on our mailing list to receive emails containing information about our special promotions, functions and events and also send you our monthly e-newsletter. You can however unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time.

SOME POINTS TO NOTE ABOUT GROUP BOOKINGS AT GARDEN BRASSERIE
- set menus are available for groups of 4 people or more
- groups of 8 people or more must select a set menu
- set menus are served in banquet style on a shared basis
- bookings must be confirmed by 5 pm on the day and no table will be held for more than 15 minutes from booking time
- any reduction in the booking number must be advised by 5 pm on the day otherwise a cancellation fee of $15 per non attending person will apply
- we will not split bills and will only accept a maximum of two credit/EFT cards per bill

MINIMUM ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR MOVIE SCREENINGS
Due to cost of copyright licensing fees for public screenings of movies, every offer or advertisement to screen a movie at Garden Brasserie is subject to a minimum attendance condition. This means that notwithstanding any offer or advertisement that a particular movie will be screened on a particular date, it is within the duty manager’s discretion to decide not to proceed with such screening if the attendance of customers for that screening is less than 20.
If in such circumstances the duty manager decides not to screen the movie, then:
- the movie only ticket price already charged and paid by any customers for that movie screening will be refunded in full; and
- any customers who are in attendance at the venue for that screening will receive a complimentary drink but will not otherwise be entitled to or receive any other compensation. The complimentary drink will be either a glass of house wine (white, red or sparkling) or a schooner of tap beer, at the customer’s choice.

T&C FOR “JOIN OUR MAILING LIST” CAMPAIGNS
From time to time Garden may run campaigns inviting customers to subscribe to our mailing list and/or may invite customers to enter a draw for a chance to to win a voucher redeemable for food and beverages at Garden.
Generally, the terms and conditions relating to such campaigns are as follows:
- By providing us with their details customers are requesting us to place their details on our mailing list to receive emails containing information about our special promotions, functions and events and also send them our monthly e-newsletter
- Customers can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time
- Such promotions normally run for a period of 3 months from the date they are launched and any vouchers issued under any given promotion will expire no later than 2 months after the end of that promotion
- The winner of each monthly draw will be announced in our e-newsletter, on Facebook and on Twitter
- Winners will receive a voucher for food & beverages at Garden Brasserie to the value nominated in the promotion
- Vouchers are valid for one visit only and must be presented at the time of use
- Any unused amount is not redeemable and the cost of any food or beverages over the value of the voucher must be paid at the time of use
- Bookings are recommended and Garden’s usual booking policy applies
- Garden encourages and supports the responsible service and consumption of alcohol at all times

T&C FOR “2 FOR 1 DRINKS” CARDS
From time to time Garden may run promotions involving the use of special cards issued to customers offering them the opportunity to purchase two beverages for the price of one.
Generally, the terms and conditions relating to promotions such as these and the use of such cards are as follows:
- One card can be redeemed for one free drink identical to the drink which is paid for by the customer
- Customer can request alternative drink to an equal or lesser value than the one paid for
- Maximum of one card per customer per day can be redeemed
- Cards cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion
- Such promotions normally run for a period of 3 months from the date they are launched and any cards issued under any given promotion will expire no later than 2 months after the end of that promotion
- Garden encourages and supports the responsible service and consumption of alcohol at all times
